The Journey
Sessions may begin with a brief guided meditation and gentle breathwork and take place fully clothed on a massage table. Gentle craniosacral holds and contacts are made as the practitioner allows Primary Respiration to guide the flow of the session. Tuning forks, sound bowls, essential oils & Energy Medicine may be incorporated into the session for additional support.
During the session, you may encounter memories, emotions, feelings, energetic shifts, intensity, and physical sensations. Visions and insights are common. Whatever arises, understand that these are the exact aspects of yourself that consciousness has chosen to bring to your awareness. Your ability to be present with these aspects allows for spontaneous healing to occur.
Please allow some time after the session to take a walk and allow the physical body to integrate to the shifts that have occurred. It is not recommended to drive a car directly after the session.
Stage 1:
Most often after a series of sessions, you will access your natural state, which begins when the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system are in balance. Stress hormones are cleared from the body and the entire system is reset. As this deepens, the craniosacral system becomes available to the effects of the healthy motion of Primary Respiration.
Stage 2:
Beyond the natural state, your nervous system settles into a direct bodily connection with Primary Respiration. Accessing Primary Respiration creates whole body recalibration and readjustments, which break up patterns of fixation. This effect ripples throughout the muscculoskeletal, immune, and neurological systems, effecting the body on a deep cellular level.
A series of sessions, weekly or every other week, is recommended at first for new clients. The body unwinds in layers and this allows for a deeper healing to occur. Regular sessions allow the nervous system to remain calibrated in a state of ease and balance, promoting health and vitality across all systems.
